2017 Summer Camps and Classes!!


FULL CAMP DAYS:
Camp is $45/day and runs 8:30-2pm. Late pick up can be arranged at an extra cost and in advance so appropriate plans can be made. Campers will go through daily activities of farm/horse keeping, learn basic care and maintenance, riding time for each adapted to their ability, some craft days, and swimming when permitted. They should come dressed to ride; pants and shoe with a heel. They can bring a change of clothes, sunscreen, sneakers, water bottle, towel, shorts, swim suit. No open toed shoes are allowed at the barn or around the horses. Lunch is not provided.  Ages 8 & up.

June 12 – 16th  Week 1   Total: $225 full week/$45 per day

July 10 - 14th    Week 2   Total: $225 full week/$45 per day

July 17 – 21st    Week 3   Total: $225 full week/$45 per day

DAY CLASSES:
These are designed with the family in mind, first time around horses, considering horses but don’t really know what’s involved.  Classes are for small groups of 8-10 and will go through all basic care, barn routine, vet care, farrier, feed, ground handling and a basic intro to riding. You should come dressed in pants and a shoe with a heel. No open toed shoes are allowed at the barn or around the horses. Lunch is provided.  Cost is $125 per group of 4. Time is 8am – 5pm.

PARENTS NIGHTS!
Parents can become campers for a night! These are 2 hour sessions with refreshments and snack. Get back in the saddle even if you’ve never ridden before! This is your time to enjoy! You should come dressed in pants and a shoe with a heel. No open toed shoes are allowed at the barn or around the horses.   Cost is $75 per person. Limit is 6 adults. Time is 7-9pm.

Camp Horses:
Our camp horses are well-schooled and our used year round in our lesson program. Stabling may be arranged if you have a horse of your own you wish to bring.

What to bring and wear:
Long pants or riding breeches
Short sleeved shirt
Boots with a heel; may bring sneakers to change after. No flip flops in the barn area.
Jacket this season may be appropriate
Swimsuit, sunscreen and towel (Only if weather permits)
Shorts for afternoon/change of clothes
Water bottle for refilling

Riding helmets, horses and equipment are supplied by HorseFeathers. T-shirts may be available at additional purchase. Water bottles and snacks provided by HorseFeathers.
